I understand. To be honest, "curse" is simply the word used to describe the phenomenon itself, usually by those who have experienced it. I suppose another way of explaining it would be to say it is just another power illusionists possess.

Personally, I consider it to be a curse in and of itself. Without Luceti's barrier restricting my power, I imagine simply standing in front of me as you are now would be uncomfortable.
