[It was Sunday today. That meant today was the day Cheyenne had to do something she hated doing more than anything else in Luceti.]

[Grocery shopping.]

[She can be found walking around inside the grocery store, holding an empty bag at her side. Every so often she picks something up, frowns at it, and then puts it back. Occassionally she might shake something, maybe even peek under her blindfold in the hopes of getting a better look at it, but so far that bag looks pretty empty. She'll keep this up for about an hour until she's filled the bag, most of it either produce or something microwavable, and then make her way back to CH 6 to drop her things off. Unfortunately, all the snow from the day before was still covering most of the paths, so she'll probably trip once or twice on her way there.]

[That out of the way, Cheyenne moves on to how she usually spends her day: finding various places to relax and perhaps listen to the spirits passing by throughout the village. More often than not, that place is a bridge; the running water of the river underneath is one of the few things she's always able to see, after all. It's much more comforting than the stillness of her apartment, even if it is chillier sitting near the water.]

[And in the evening, after a failed cooking attempt that she won't be in the mood to talk about, she heads to Seventh Heaven to get something to eat there. All in all, a rather normal day for this illusionist.]

[Cheyenne says nothing, but watches curiously as he balances up on the rail.]

Is that really a safe thing to be doing? It is a rather cold day to be falling into the river by mistake. [She doesn't sound too concerned, though.]

But I won't fall~ Do you doubt me, Cheyenne-chan?

[GRIIIIN]

I do not suppose I do. However, should you fall into the river, I would be quite unable to assist you without causing you great displeasure...

[A pause.] ...and I do so dislike swimming.

[It's hard to tell if she's more concerned about him falling in or the possibility of having to fish him out...]

[generalflirt]

[He cranes his neck over towards her a moment before, grinning, he leaps off the rail to crouch in front of her, putting his hands together in a mock swoon]

You'd jump in for me anyway~?! Aaaaah, I didn't know your feelings were so strong, Cheyenne-chan!

[illusional]

[Kida, y u always gotta be so close? She leans away just a bit.] I suppose I would feel a twinge of guilt were you to drown and I had done nothing to prevent it.

Although I would think my assistance would be unnecessary. My powers aside, I can see quite plainly that you are physically stronger than I.

[generalflirt]

Eeeh~ When you put it like that it seems much less romantic!!

[Pointed sigh. Oooh]

[illusional]

[Tilting her head.] Had it been "romantic" previously?

[She's saying that word like she has no idea what it means.]

[generalflirt]

Maybe just a little! You sounded so gallant~ [...Heheh]

[illusional]

Is that so? [A pause, looking back out over the water.]

...I can assure you, if that were indeed the case, it was entirely unintentional on my part. [So cold...]

[generalflirt]

...That's a bit harsh, Cheyenne-chan.

[illusional]

Was it? [There's either a frown or a pout on her face, and she wouldn't be able to tell him which. She almost feels like she's being tested here.]

My apologies. That was not my intention either.

[generalflirt]

You should be careful how you tell a man things, Cheyenne-chan. You wouldn't want to be a heartbreaker!

[This is... mock chiding. Complete with a tut-tut]

I would not want to break anything, let alone a human's heart.

[His mock-tone might be lost on her, but at least she understands he doesn't mean a physical heart with that phrase. Others in Luceti have associated that word with "soul," so that is the definition she's going with.]

It is difficult for myself to know what sort of things are appropriate to say, as I still have relatively little experience communicating with humans. I apologize if my words sound cold.

So long as you're trying, that's what counts!

[Hand on heart, pause, and then a grin as he leans in once more]

[This time she isn't bothering to lean away. Maybe she's just being overly cautious... certainly no one would willing touch her when they know what effect she has on them, right?]

I suppose. I would like to think I have improved since my arrival, but it is not something so easily learned.

[generalflirt]

So you might be blushing more in future? [Complete with an accusatory point]

[illusional]

[Head-tilt.]

For what reason would I blush?

[Hey man, just because it happens doesn't mean she knows why.]

[generalflirt]

It doesn't matter until you learn why...!

[illusional]

It is not as though I am capable of simply picking up a book and reading about these things.

[generalflirt]

Of course, of course~ But emotions are things to be felt, not learned about.

[illusional]

That is far easier said than done. [A pause.]

...what do you think it would be like, being unable to tell the difference between happiness and sadness?

[generalflirt]

[He frowns. Looking at the water, he really can't help but think that isn't all that dissimilar from his own life. But... there's no need to say that, so he shrugs]

I wouldn't know, Cheyenne-chan.

[illusional]

Mm... it is a difficult thing for beings with emotions to understand. Even now, there are times when even I find it hard to believe that I spent over a 100 years of my life in such an emotionless state.
