About Cheyenne
Name: Cheyenne
Age: Over 200, physically around 15
Species: Illusionist
Summary: A young girl in a blindfold who struggles with conveying emotions, who cannot be physically touched without causing severe negative emotions in others, and who feeds on souls through illusions created with her eyes.
--
About: Cheyenne is a type of monster that feeds on the energy of humans by forcing them into illusions with their eyes. This energy is referred to as the "soul" due to the negative impact its removal can have on those fed on by illusionists. Cheyenne is unique among her kind and has developed a method to feed safely, but still acknowledges the stigma of her kind and the validity of humans who choose not to trust her.
Cheyenne herself appears emotionless, and speaks in a dull monotone. When she does emote, it's intentionally done to try and convey a particular emotion in a way so she might be understood, but typically she doesn't bother. Only very intense emotions will naturally show on her face, though if it is a complex emotion she doesn't understand, her expression will be all the more blank.
Despite her blindfold, she is capable of "seeing" by sensing the souls of living things around her, and can also sense general movement to some extent. Anything that is alive will have some sort of soul, except in cases where a character is canonically stated not to have one. She can learn a great deal about what a person is like through their soul, as well as some basics about their appearance.
Her ability to project illusions and feed on souls cannot be turned off, only controlled, which is why she wears a blindfold. Even with her eyes open, she can't see any better, because they're no longer designed for sight.
Additionally, due to the curse involved in her creation, she is unable to directly touch anything that has a soul without causing it great distress. Her skin feels like ice, and touching her will send feelings of paranoia and anxiety into the mind of one touching her. These effects lessen the moment contact is broken. Indirect touching, such as through clothing, may cause similar effects.
In spite of all of this, Cheyenne herself is kind and caring, having developed a safer method to feed in order to avoid causing undue suffering to the humans she feeds on. Her emotions are limited, not non-existent. And due to having grown up isolated most of her life, she can be awkward and often lacks tact.

For vampire characters: Cheyenne (and her entire species) was created by a type of vampire, and may give off the aura of one. Whether or not your character would be able to recognize this is something I'll leave up to you, since all canons do vampires differently.
For supernatural-type characters: If your character is able to sense or recognize curses, they'll be able to see that Cheyenne has a very strong one on her, that grows stronger when she is genuinely upset, or when she is touched. Prolonged touches from people she feels close to will cause the curse to weaken.
Additionally, if they are able to see her soul, they'll see that what remains is in tatters, with less than 5% of her original soul left.
Fire-using characters: Illusionists are more or less completely invulnerable and can regenerate at terrifying speeds. The only thing that slows this down are burns, and fire is the only guaranteed way to kill an illusionist. As such, Cheyenne is afraid of it though she herself doesn't realize the fear is real.
