Since Cheyenne is an original character, the only one who knows a lot about her is me. And since her app is full of much tl;dr, I've summarized some key things to know in a handy little list!

About Cheyenne
Cheyenne is an illusionist. Because she is missing most of her own soul, she needs to feed off of other souls to stay alive. However, while Cheyenne's powers may be evil, she isn't. She won't feed on people without their permission. Unlike other illusionists, Cheyenne is capable of (very limited) emotions and she'd feel guilty for doing so. Unless she is deprived of food for too long and loses her sanity, that is.

tl;dr about souls
In this case, the soul is more like a physical thing that makes up who a person is, which can be drawn out in the form of a silvery glowy string. Illusionists categorize the soul into four parts:

Length: A person's will to live. The more someone is willing to fight to live, the longer it will appear when drawn out.
Strength: Defined by a person's personality. If a person is strong-willed, they'll have a stronger soul that's harder to break apart and feed on.
Potency: The emotions a person feels, including feelings like love and hope. This part is delicious.
Power: A person's natural stamina and energy. Comparable to an HP bar in RPGs, it replenishes itself with sleep and food.

Illusionists usually feeds on people by forcing them to experience an extreme emotion: fear. This causes the Potency of a soul to become more apparent and she can draw it out from the rest of their soul. That's why her default illusion is always a person's greatest fear. If this happens and she feeds for longer than a few moments, the person may be without emotions for up to a week. If she were to take more than 50% of their soul's potency, the effects would be permanent unless Cheyenne were killed, allowing the person's soul to return to them.  These kinds of illusions are usually accidental or used for self-defense.

Since Cheyenne is a good little illusionist, she's figured out a way to feed on a person's Power instead. This will just make the other person feel tired or sleepy, and she can create a happy or peaceful illusion without needing to upset the other person. These kinds of illusions must be intentional.

In regards to her powers and (accidental) illusions:
1. If you accidentally look into her eyes, your character will immediately see an illusion of whatever it is they fear the most.
2. It is possible for a character to not be afraid of anything assuming they are badass, in which case, everything will just fade to white.
3. Cheyenne can't see the illusion she makes, since it'll all be in your character's mind.
4. Breaking eye contact breaks the illusion, but doing this by yourself is very difficult if you've never done it before. A third person would have to intervene.
5. If you see her eyes through something, such as sunglasses, tinted window, etc. you will not be affected by her powers due to the powercap, so you'll be able to see her eyes. Her eyes look like the inside of a mussel shell with no pupil or sclera.
6. For witnesses, the victim will basically be freaking out/crying/screaming while a strange silver thread is pulled out of their chest. This is how she eats people's souls. Yum. B)
7. Feeding twice a week will keep her happy, but once a month will keep her alive. There's no guarentee that she'll be able to stay sane, however, only eating just enough to get by.
8. Cheyenne's eyes can trap more than one person at once. However, they won't both necessarily see the same illusion.
9. Aside from her powers, Cheyenne is fairly weak and unable to fight.

In regards to interactions:
1. She sees people as shades of light/colors based on their soul, with or without the blindfold. If your character has no soul, she'll see them as an inanimate object.
2. Inanimate objects and creatures without souls appear in faint grayscale. She can still see these with the blindfold on, but not as clearly. She'll also have a lot of trouble telling people like this apart from each other.
3. Because she's technically a cursed being, touching her will give you a horrible chill and fill your mind with negative emotions and thoughts. Hugs: not a good idea. :|b This effect grows weaker the closer she feels towards a person.
4. She can't see the text on the page well enough to read, so any written entries and comments will be ignored.
5. She will lineface :| at you always and forever. Her own emotions are often very muted, and she has trouble understanding the emotions of people around her.

--

With that out of the way, here's a the stuff I'd like you to fill out, if you don't mind!

1. Character name:
2. Does your character have a soul? I use the word "soul" because it's part of Cheyenne's history and fits the best, but really, almost anything that is alive and has a consciousness would have a soul in regards to Cheyenne's powers! The only cases where a character wouldn't have a soul:
+They are canonly stated to not have a soul for whatever reason.
+They are 100% robotic/man-made.
I am open to making exceptions for those of you who believe your character should still have a soul, or have a good reason for why they would not!
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)?:
4. What is their greatest fear? IMPORTANT: This part is optional. You are free to either keep it a secret (in which case, the illusion itself is hand-waived and only their reaction is played out) or leave it blank so you can describe it yourself in interactions. It can be something physical (monster, villains, spiders) or something emotional (death, losing a loved one, being alone).
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: For instance, if your character is actually two people, she would feel the presence of two souls. If your character is a God, they will have a very delicious powerful-looking soul.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Since the soul does make up a person, certain things can be seen right away. Their soul will look very short if that person has no sense of self-preservation. If a person is feeling an intense emotion, they'll appear brighter than usual. People who are very strong will be in bolder colors, and people who are very weak will appear more neutral. She won't go around sharing what another person's soul looks like, but she may bring it up with your character.

ONE MORE IMPORTANT THING. Since souls aren't the kind of thing you can just sell in a bottle for eating if there is a canon with that, I would be so amazed, Cheyene will need to find volunteers willing to be fed upon. Keep in mind, these would be the peaceful illusions that cause no harm to a person, not the scary lose-your-emotions illusions! If you have a character who might be open to this, please let me know! If you aren't sure, Cheyenne will probably make a post asking IC at some point as well.

1. Character name: Litchi Faye-Ling
2. Does your character have a soul? Yes~
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? N/A
4. What is their greatest fear? Losing herself to the Boundary again is an incredibly strong fear, although the fear of losing anyone she loves is her absolute darkest fear. The fact that she's willing to brave losing herself in favor of losing a loved one speaks volumes.
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: I'm not sure how much it would've tainted on her soul itself, but her trespassing on the Boundary has eroded her mind and body, so soul itself wouldn't surprise me too much.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Sure. ♥ Feel free to see about the erosion thing. And I'm sure her nasty habit of blaming herself for just about everything would leave some kind of visible impact for Cheyenne. She's very strong-willed and physically fit, so strength and power would be good. Potency would probably be especially juicy because Litchi has a habit of feeling her emotions a bit too much. ;;

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? Probably not at first, but if the situation is explained to her, she'll be more than willing to help out. ♥

1. Character name: [livejournal.com profile] skulljokelol
2. Does your character have a soul? Yes! It's actually seen breifly in the series, and is a pale yellow in color.
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? N/A
4. What is their greatest fear? Anything paranormal. He has a much deeper fear of intense isolation, though, particularly when accompanied by silence.
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: He's dead! Er, sorta. He is a living skeleton that is alive thanks to a Devil Fruit that he ate, which allowed his soul to return to his body after he died. Because of this Devil Fruit, there will probably be an odd quality to his soul. Something not quite magical, but by no means natural either. Really, his soul (with this devil fruit power) is the only thing keeping him alive.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Sure! Canonically, Brook's soul is actually briefly visible once. Not sure if you would even want to do anything with it, but when seen it was a pale yellow in color. Aside from that, Brook has a very long soul, having survived for fifty years on the will to live alone. He's also a very emotional guy, ranging from one extreme to another, so his is probably a very bright soul. Finally, while he's not the absolute strongest of the Strawhats, he's still a Shounen character, so he probably ranks just a little above average on the strength scale.

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? Mrr, this is where it gets complicated. Normally he'd be very willing to help, but I'm hesitant to have him do this. As mentioned above, his Devil Fruit ability is directly tied to his soul. Essentially, they work in tandem to keep him alive in a body that shouldn't even be able to function. So I kinda think it would be dangerous to his health to even give up a little bit of his soul. So for now, I'm going to say no on him.

2. Does your character have a soul? Yup!
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? N/A
4. What is their greatest fear? Umm. I'm gonna say fire on this one.
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: Nothing in particular.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Sure, though there's probably not much. His soul is probably of average length and strength. It's likely also dull in comparison to others, as he's a very reserved kind of guy.

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? Proooobably not. He's very distrusting of people usually.

Mrrr. And here's my third character, as I couldn't fit him on the last comment. >.>

1. Character name: [livejournal.com profile] its_troublesome
2. Does your character have a soul? Yes!
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? N/A
4. What is their greatest fear? Failing. Losing the people he cares about and being helpless to stop it.
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: As a ninja from the Naruto universe, Shikamaru uses chakra to perform several of his clan's techniques. Half of this chakra is spiritual energy, so it wouldn't surprise me if she could see it. It's basically chi/soul power/insert whatever here that has been accessed and can be molded by the user to do several kinds of techniques.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? More or less! Besides the above information, she might be able to gather that his soul is somewhat dark in nature - not evil, just dark overall. Think shadows, but as in the Naruto universe this can apply to other things, the vibe probably wouldn't be clear on that. Shikamaru's soul is probably just a little shorter than average. He's very good at self-preservation, yes, but as a ninja he is completely prepared for the fact that he may someday have to throw his life away for the sake of a mission. Also as a ninja, he's probably quite a bit stronger than your average person, but he also has poor stamina, so it's not grossly stronger. Finally, In regards to potency, on the surface he might appear dull due to how laid-back he is, but when you scrape away at that there's a very loyal individual with a good heart and a strong moral compass. Very intelligent too. Think dull around the edges, but with a somewhat brighter center.

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? It would probably take a lot of time and interaction before he reached that point, but it's possible. If a) he picked up on her situation b) trusted her not to kill him and c) saw no one else available to help her, he might do it. These chances go up if interactions have been mostly positive.

THERE, DONE. Sorry that turned into such a tl;dr. ;;

2. Does your character have a soul? Yes.
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? N/A
4. What is their greatest fear? Being devoured by the black squiggly known as Arakune, dying, Terumi/Hazama (some green jackass that happens to be a godmode and hates cats, you do the math), and the Kaka Village being under attack/in trouble. And her friends dying. 8C
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: Uhhhh in canon, the Kakas (species she's part of) are known for having a stronger life-force than humans (which is why Arakune feeds on kittens, it's horrible >8C) and her soul reacts to certain things (not explained in canon so it won't come into play much). Her soul might be tastier than most. 8C It'll be pretty long, somewhat strong, rather potent (she's known for being emotional), and pretty powerful, seeing as her species is known for its stamina and energy.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Go ahead. You...won't really get much, considering it's Tao. She'll just learn she...likes food. And breasts. And sleeping. And her friends. That's pretty much a lot of her personality. 8|
Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? Prrrrrobably not. :C Unless Cheyenne gains her trust and is in desperate need, and promised not to kill her. Or something. If she explains the situation in simple enough terms or something, Tao might be willing to help.

6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Go for it. Vash's soul should be strong willed as his ideas are iron-clad to him, but he does have a LITTLE trouble with the self-preservation thing. Not that he wants to die, far from it, he's just the typical hero who will throw himself into danger for others. Although currently he's feeling a lot of stress and fear as an enemy from his show just showed up.

1. Character name: Roronoa Zoro
2. Does your character have a soul? Yep!
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? N/A
4. What is their greatest fear?
...>___> Zoro is quite possibly that level of straightforward badass for whom things would fade to white. It's not that he doesn't ever feel fear, it's just always pretty circumstantial, ie "shit, that friend is about to die--!". If he fears anything at all on a more permanent basis I'd probably say it's letting down his captain, breaking his promise to a dead friend, or his crewmates dying, and...even those are things that he just doesn't dwell on. :|a He a made-of-confidence kind of guy.
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: If you count him being ridiculously strong, physically, and also in terms of willpower, I suppose. Shounen and all, and even out of everyone in his series he's one of the most defined by his epic strength in those areas.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Sure.

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? Usually I would say no, he wouldn't bother volunteering, and he'd be unenthusiastic about the idea of volunteering his soul to a stranger. But this is actually something I wanted to ask about a little, because, if you didn't know, Zoro is one of Sanji's crewmates, and he came along when Sanji let Cheyenne feed off of him--if that's already happened, I mean. I wasn't sure. :|a. So if it has they've probably already briefly met and he's seen the effects of the feeding and had the (very very) basics explained to him. For various reasons more to do with Sanji than Cheyenne, Zoro is now insisting to me that he answer her post. >_>a Which is why I'm filling this out and wanted to see if the feeding-on-Sanji had officially happened yet.

1. Character name: Terra Branford
2. Does your character have a soul? Yes.
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? n/a
4. What is their greatest fear? Losing control of her powers, being mind-controlled again.
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: She's half-human, half-esper, if Cheyenne can figure that out. Her Esper heritage is the source of her great magical power.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Sure. One thing is that Terra's strength of will varies a lot and often goes to extremes, depending on the situation. Protecting people, especially children, will cause her to be extremely strong-willed. However, she has a lot of insecurities in other areas.

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? Not outside extreme circumstances, like if she was starving and would otherwise feed on someone defenseless. But please ask beforehand anyway.

No in all seriousness he's not scared in the straight sense of the term, but show him something REALLY upsetting and you'd enrage him enough to really get serious. The greatest example would be corrupted Enkidu (I am headcanoning here but hush ;;): if you take his BFF who is everything that he is not and reverse his personality, he will KNOW it's an illusion, it WILL still upset him, and things will go badly if you do. 8|;;

Gil is a Fallen Hero, so to speak, once a glorious one now grown twisted, so make what you will out of it.

3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? N/A.
4. What is their greatest fear? Isolation and being forgotten. She's dangerously close to being condemned to an afterlife like this. Feel free to message me if you want details.
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: Kaori's soul is a little unique from others of her kind, and different from a Human's because of it. Because of her deep connection as a scion to the deity of Emotion among her kind it is overflowing with emotions, but at the same time her Human part which is not capable of handling such intense emotions is trying to stifle it. It also emits a significant amount of sachi, the energy which keeps Auria alive because of her connection. The conflicts are a significant source of pain for her and why she can have such abrupt mood swings. While it would normally be a very bright soul, growing stronger as time went on, Cheyenne will notice how clouded and colorless it may seem to be when it comes to her hatred of Humans, because she is dangerously close to being condemned to an afterlife which would pretty much be her worst fears multiplied several times. Again, feel free to message.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Yup, happens all the time to others in her canon.

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? As a last resort, like any other Auria she sees souls as sacred and would be terrified of anyone tampering with it in any way (because souls are nommed in her canon too YUM). But if Cheyenne really needs it and Kaori can provide it, she'll bend.

1. Character name: Robert Hastings
2. Does your character have a soul? This is a bit of a tricky one for me, actually. When I came up with Terra, I specifically omitted anything paranormal or irrational, which included souls. So TECHNICALLY, Robert doesn't have a soul, at least not in the sense of anything being independent from the electrical activity in his brain. I mean, he's still conscious and all, but... I kinda want to say he doesn't if only for the lulz.
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? Yeah, he's a completely ordinary homo sapiens.
4. What is their greatest fear? It's sort of abstract stuff for Robert. Not knowing things or losing access to his ability to understand, in particular. Perhaps she could illusion up a lobotomy for him? He's also afraid of rejection and getting close to people (for that reason).
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: If being stupidly rational counts as being special. He might be rational enough to realize very quickly that he was dealing with illusions when it came to Cheyenne, though, but I don't know if he would have the willpower to fight it. It might be somewhat situational for him.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Um... Well, again, if he doesn't technically have one, I don't think she could do this. But I wouldn't have any problems with it if she could.

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? IF Robert could feed her, he probably would allow it, especially since he doesn't even think souls exist so he'd probably see it as a silly request anyway, akin to somebody asking "can I pet your magical pink sparkly unicorn princess". Plus it's not like he'd have much to lose anyway. *shot*

4. What is their greatest fear? His mom. And by fear, I mean if he ever saw/met her again he'd be reduced to this ball of tears and hysterics, derp. Also fears abandonment, his friends dying, his own death...

Basically, kid has so many fears it's kind of ridiculous. His mom is probably the most prominent one, though.
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: He's not exactly a normal human. He has excess mana/magical energy, which I imagine she might be able to see as part of his Power? It's more of MP than HP, though, but similarly replenishes with rest.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Sure. Above average Length, below average Strength outside of specific circumstances. Potency looks unimpressive at a glance, but he is made of fear and tsun and ridiculous loyalty despite seeming pretty mild.

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? Prooobably not, unless they get a lot of positive CR somehow. If he's certain she wouldn't kill him and she was in desperate need, he might bend.

1. Character name: Raine Sage
2. Does your character have a soul? Yes
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? n/a
4. What is their greatest fear? I'm not sure what qualifies here. Her major phobia includes water (though through luceti storms/claustrophobic tendencies have been added there) but there are also abandonment issues and I can't figure out what the greatest fear of all would be because everything is all tied up in... unpleasant things, even with her attempts to work through them so they aren't completely debilitating. Being in positions where someone she cares for is beyond her help probably goes here too. Otherwise she can seem pretty unaffected in the face of things that would make most others recoil so it's more in the manner of.... thing. YES YOU CAN SEE WHY I TOOK SO LONG RESPONDING TO THIS, IT MAKES NO SENSE. /sob.
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: I'm not sure what would count as special in this case.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Probably?

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? I.... don't know :|a it would depend on how it came up. And probably a distinction on what is being done and the dangers, whatnot.

AHAHA. I lied. That comment was so big. /separates them

1. Character name: Caesar Silverberg ([livejournal.com profile] mydearapple)
2. Does your character have a soul? Yes.
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? N/A
4. What is their greatest fear? Losing his brother in just about any way possible.
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: Nope.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Sure! He has a strong will to live despite acknowledging that he'll probably die young. He is a strong-willed person... on occasion? It depends on the situation. Similarly, he isn't a very emotional person in general, except for under certain (rare) circumstances. Physically, he is on the weaker side.

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? Nope, not willingly. :|;

1. Character name: Elliot Nightray ([livejournal.com profile] isntyourfriend)
2. Does your character have a soul? Yes.
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? N/A
4. What is their greatest fear? Elliot Nightray is pretty much a badass doesn't have any particularly strong fears, but he has recurring nightmares that are constant source of frustration for him, and that's probably what he'd see. It mostly involves burning buildings, blood everywhere, and lots of dead people.
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: Um. Well. Elliot is the contractor of a Chain. Chains are beings from the Abyss (similar to hell) that were once human, but were transformed into monsters after being pulled in. Since he's a contractor, I figure she might notice that his soul is tied to something else, even if the Chain itself isn't actually present in Luceti. (It also happens to be keeping him alive. That might be important, too. :|;) At his current canon point, he isn't aware of the fact that he's a contractor, but Cheyenne is welcome to point it out anyway. Seriously. I welcome the conflict. :|b
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Sure. Elliot has the desire to live, but he is willing to put himself in danger to protect someone else, so he probably lacks a proper sense of self-preservation. He is a very strong-willed person. Good luck with that one. 8| He's a very emotional person as well... even if he just seems angry most of the time. Physically, he's pretty strong for, well, a normal person.

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? Not normally, but under more dire circumstances, he'd be more willing.

1. Character name: Claude C. Kenny ([livejournal.com profile] mirrorblade)
2. Does your character have a soul? Yes.
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? N/A
4. What is their greatest fear? Losing or being unable to protect his friends, and failing to save the universe. :|b
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: Nope.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Sure. Like Elliot, he has the desire to live but is willing to put himself in danger for others. He is a strong-willed person, pretty normal when it comes to emotions, and is also physically strong. (He's one of the strongest characters in SO2, so he's probably a little stronger than average).

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? Definitely. He wouldn't even think twice about it once he knows about her situation.

1. Character name: [livejournal.com profile] deathtakesashot
2. Does your character have a soul? Yes he does. It's red and sad-looking. XD
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)?
4. What is their greatest fear? My first instinct was to say Noah or the Kishin (more the Kishin now that he's defeated Noah), but I actually think that overall, Kid's greatest fear is loss of control and failure: failure to protect his loved ones, failure to adhere to his standards/responsibilities and failure to bring balance to the world.
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?:
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Yes. He has a strong desire to live long enough to make the world a better place, and as a whole Kid has proven to be incredibly strong-willed, but his mental illness interferes with that from time to time. His emotions are a little hard to explain because he can go from being flat and serious to animated and visibly distressed in a flash. His loyalty to his friends and passion towards his goal is pretty normal for a shounen character. And physically, Kid is a god, so he's very strong. And if you think he's delicious, you should see his father's soul--it encompasses an entire city like a giant spiky bubble.

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? Probably not, because in the universe that Kid comes from, when souls are eaten or absorbed by a weapon or an evil human, they're gone. That is his sense of normality, so I think it would take a certain amount of time and trust for him to let himself be on the menu.

1. Character name: Lina Inverse
2. Does your character have a soul? Yes
3. If no, are they still organic (not mechanical)? N/A
4. What is their greatest fear? The death of her friends - Lina doesn't care if they leave her, as long as she knows they're alive somewhere. Seeing them die, irrevocably die, is something she probably still has bad dreams about.
5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: She has been possessed by what is basically the overdeity of her world at one point. The Lord of Nightmares is the creator and killer of all things. It probably left a few strange marks on her soul.
6. Is it okay for Cheyenne to learn things about your character based on their soul? Yes

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? If/when Lina gets to know Cheyenne a little better, and if Cheyenne explains the situation, Lina would probably let her.

5. Is there something special about your character Cheyenne should know?: Nope.

Would your character allow Cheyenne to feed on them willingly? Once she finds out about Cheyenne's condition, definitely.
