[There's a rather strange new feather walking around town right now. For one, she seems to have torn off a strip of cloth from around her new-feather dress to blindfold herself, for whatever reason. Despite that, she seems to be getting around just fine...]

[But that's not all! Even if she weren't wearing the blindfold, she's not even trying to watch where she's going. She's too busy leafing through the journal in her hands, occassionally shaking it as though she expects the voices inside to just fall out. And those of you paying attention over the networks have likely noticed that she is holding it upside down as well.]

[In a moment, she stops walking and lets out a very small sigh before stating the obvious to whomever is listening.] I am no longer in the Stendrion Desert, am I.

Miss, this is gonna be hard for you to swallow, but this Luceti - it's in another world entirely. I've never heard of the Stendrion Desert, and I'm fairly sure you're not familiar with the Grand Line.

Because of that, I actually don't know what you are. [And he really doesn't care, either, but figures it's best she know, in case she wants to keep it secret]

It's good to meet you, Cheyenne. There's a clothing shop in town. Even if you don't find your clothing, there should be something there you can wear.

A clothing shop... [She pauses again, taking only a few steps before she stops again and looks back down at the journal.]

...I am assuming now would be the time where I should tell you that I am what many would consider "blind". Although I am able to see the buildings, they all appear the same to me.

Oh. [Right. She should have known that, looking straight into the little video camera.] I'm sorry. I didn't think. Do you want me to meet you somewhere and show you? Or... well, if you can see the fountain, I might be able to direct you through the journal.

The fountain... yes, that must be the source of all the running water I see here, so far from the river. [She can see that, at least. And more clearly than the buildings, since it's moving!]

[ is that a blindfold. it may not be black, but it pings Xion anyway.

besides, how can a person wearing a blindfold use the journal? concerned and curious at the same time, Xion decides to head over to her. a new feather could probably use a little assistance, right? though just to double check: ]

New? [Cheyenne glances over, curious as to why someone would even try and approach her... unless no one here honestly has any idea what she is.] If it's true that this place is no longer Stendrion, then yes, I suppose I am new.

It's true. At least, the only name I've ever heard for this place is Luceti. [ smiles a little -- even if she's not entirely sure Cheyenne can see it. Though she's looking right at her, the same way Riku was always able to... ] It's a different world than the one you were on before.

[It's hard to tell whether Cheyenne can see the smile or not, since she's returning the gesture either way. Which may seem odd, considering the news she's just been given.]

A different world? How strange. Did I wander into the Enchanted Forest by mistake...? [A pause.] I suppose not. It isn't customary of the Enchanted Forest to steal one's belongings. Is it possible to retrieve the clothing I was wearing before?

[ ... she's so calm. Xion's mouth twitches into a slightly wider smile. ] Yeah. There's a clothing store in the village where you should be able to find your things. I can show you there, if you want.

[If this really is a different world, clearly this girl has no idea what Cheyenne really is. Perhaps, for now, that's for the best. At least, until she can find her clothes.]

If it is not too much to ask, I would most appreciate it. With or without this blindfold, I'm afraid my vision is quite limited.

Not unless it's somewhere in the middle of this place. [But he's been listening to the above conversations, so he won't bother to repeat the same speech.] Seems like you've already been filled in on that though.

[Another voice from the mysterious talking book! He's lucky she figured out how to tell when it's upside down.] If this is indeed another world, then Stendrion is far, far away.

Not that this is something worth showing sadness over. It was a dreadful place.

I'm sure this place will have its bad days too, given enough time. [But at least now he can partially understand why she's taking it so well.]

I have no doubt in my mind that such will be the case. From what I have heard, these "experiments" are not always so pleasant.

[Not that he has that kind of luck, but you know. Shikamaru puts his chin in one hand and examines the image the journal is showing him. He can't help but be a litte curious.] So do you need help or anything? Being new and all.

[She pauses to think for a moment.] I have already secured aid in finding my belongings, but I am rather at a loss for finding a place to stay. Is it true one just needs to find an empty place and claim it as their own?
