[Cheyenne is lost. The whole village still looks weird and there are things all over the ground in the most inconvenient places. And although she feels quite indifferent about her costume for the most part, those high-heels have done nothing but gotten in her way with every step she takes. Literally, as a matter of fact. She was just on her way out when she stumbled on her feet, tripped on a pumpkin, and slammed into a wall. No real harm done, save for her bruised pride. Unfortunately, this habit of tripping is beginning to become more than just an occasional blunder: she's tripped at least 12 times since leaving her apartment.]

[As it stands now, she was just on her way back to community house 6 when, after spending more time watching the ground than counting the buildings as she walked by, she found herself in a section of town she couldn't immediately recognize. She even took a chance and peeked her eyes over the edge of her new red blindfold to see if she could more readily recognize the area. But really, without a point of reference, it was no use.]

[She soon gives up and decides to sit on the edge of one of the small bridges around town, dangling her feet over the edge just above the river and probably wishing she could just kick those awful shoes right into the water.]

Unless it's something that completely changes their basic shape. And even then, she might assume that's how they look normally.]]

However, I believe it would be best you do not attempt to carry me.

Why not? [He blinks at this! After all, he should try to help, right?

Were you to try and touch me, it would create a most unpleasant sensation. Cursed beings such as myself are not meant to be touched.

Ehh... Really...? [And now he lingers his hand closer to her. Perhaps as a testament to his dumb, he's now tempted to touch her just because she told him not to]

[Kida you perv- I mean And she'll just be scooting a few inches away, thank you very much.]

I must ask that you do not attempt to see for yourself. It is by far an understatement to call the feelings that will result unpleasant.

Eeeh, but will it hurt you, Cheyenne-chan? [He askes this with all due seriousness. If it doesn't hurt her and he can still function, he can help her, right? [But that had been more than just a simple touch of her hand or arm. The more intimate the gesture, the worse the feelings and emotions become, and an arm over the shoulder is more or less half of an embrace...]

[W-what is- Oh my god this feeling is just. Suddenly he feels cold and his mind is filled to the brim the images of Saki and Izaya and how he felt on that night he failed to protect her on instantly re-run. His eyes go wide more than a little at this actually, he he looks at horror at Cheyenne. He had expected bad, but this is-?]

[It had been a long time since Cheyenne had stood over another creature as it looked up at her with such fear in its eyes. Not since she left Stendrion and came here... Kida looked as though he'd seen an illusion. That powerful of a reaction, just from her touch? The swirl of powerful emotions, his soul looking so vulnerable in that moment... she had to look away.]

[She felt something, some emotion, but couldn't quite place it enough to form an expression on her face.] I told you not to touch me. I warned you... for what reason did you not believe me?

[And then, rapidly, he starts to recover. It's mostly his own guilt which flooded him and... well, a surge was shocking, but he knows how to deal with it so he calms down in a casual level of self-loathing pretty quick. He exhales and-]

You really didn't lie, Cheyenne-chan...

How could I have been expected to benefit from lying in such a situation? I don't understand why you did such a thing. [She keeps her head facing away from Kida for a few more moments before once more taking a seat on the edge of the bridge. Cheyenne still isn't sure what to call this emotion, but it feels a lot like being "upset". She's frowning now.]

I must ask that you never do such a foolish thing again.

Oh! [He snapped his fingers at this point, putting a wide grin back on his face. He entirely ignores that first point in favor of-] I could carry you like a princess, on her own carriage!

Oh! A rickshaw! Yes~!

[Kida, just... this face. Forever.]

I am beginning to wonder whether or not it is merely a lost cause in my attempt to understand how your mind works.

It's merely that my heart is beginning to fill up with love-love feelings you give off, Cheynne-chaaaan~! [and as he says this, he even cups his hands into a heart shape]

I sincerely doubt that is the case. Illusionists are incapable of such feelings.

Reeeally? That seems a little lonely, Cheyenne-chan.

Illusionists are solitary creatures by nature. I am not bothered by loneliness.

But isn't it more fun when you can talk to people?

I merely stated that I do not mind being alone, not that I do not enjoy the company of others. Had that been the case, I would not have chosen to live within the village at all.

[At this, he leaps to his feet and winks down at her!] then let's find a rickshaw!!
