[Cheyenne is lost. The whole village still looks weird and there are things all over the ground in the most inconvenient places. And although she feels quite indifferent about her costume for the most part, those high-heels have done nothing but gotten in her way with every step she takes. Literally, as a matter of fact. She was just on her way out when she stumbled on her feet, tripped on a pumpkin, and slammed into a wall. No real harm done, save for her bruised pride. Unfortunately, this habit of tripping is beginning to become more than just an occasional blunder: she's tripped at least 12 times since leaving her apartment.]

[As it stands now, she was just on her way back to community house 6 when, after spending more time watching the ground than counting the buildings as she walked by, she found herself in a section of town she couldn't immediately recognize. She even took a chance and peeked her eyes over the edge of her new red blindfold to see if she could more readily recognize the area. But really, without a point of reference, it was no use.]

[She soon gives up and decides to sit on the edge of one of the small bridges around town, dangling her feet over the edge just above the river and probably wishing she could just kick those awful shoes right into the water.]

[Wonder how a small orb of flame will register, to the blindfolded illusionist. Calcifer follows at a short distance. Bored with popping out of pumpkins, he's more interested in the strange energy this young lady seems to exude.]

[She's not sure exactly what to make of this little soul nearby. Much too small in size to be a human. Not timid enough to be an animal. And far too powerful to be either. And the power is different from that of the filial spirits that roam Luceti.]

[After setting herself down on the bridge, she turns and in the direction of the little flame before calling out to him.] Though I hate to give the impression that I am speaking with myself should the latter be the case, are you a sort of creature or are you a spirit?

And I beg your pardon. [he flutters around, crackling like the ball of energy he is, to hover just in front of her] You seemed to be a curious creature yourself.

[Oh, Calcifer. Why couldn't you be a nice water demon instead? Cheyenne has a bit of an aversion to anything relating to fire, so don't be too offended when she reels back a little at the mention of it.]

With as many creatures from as many worlds as there are present in Luceti, it makes sense that more than a few would appear as rather curious in nature. I cannot say I have ever met a demon, though I have seen my fair share of monsters.

[Giles is currently sitting under said bridge, meditating and trying to get in touch with Sona without getting splashed.

Once again, he fails. Some of the backlash might just hit Cheyenne from where she's sitting - Sona can be enthusiastic like that] Gah! Not again...

[You'd think, given her ability to sense souls around her, she'd be careful about sitting on a bridge where anyone was underneath. Obviously today wasn't a day to be thinking clearly, and there's a small gasp when the cold water splashes her legs.]

[She moves in a way so that she can look under the bridge at whoever is down there... or rather, show her face so they are aware that she is up here.] I hope you do not take offense, but I was under the impression that only trolls lived under bridges, as far as human folklore goes.

[Giles is busily trying to clean the water off his glasses] Sorry about that. I certainly didn't intend for that.

[She tilts her head to the side.] I should hope not. Even if one is accustomed to living outside, beneath a damp bridge would be rather unappealing in the colder months.

I'm...not quite sure if she likes me or not. This is the second time she's responded by splashing me repeatedly.

A-aaarh! Shit! [And down he goes, not yet picking up on the Illusionist nearby since he's busy crashing to the ground] Why put me in a costume if I can't walk in it, shitheads?!

[Sanji, what are you doing even. Cheyenne can't see that costume at all; all she can see is that for whatever reason he appears to be going back and forth between floating a few inches in the air and then falling over. She turns to look at him when he falls again nearby.]

Sanji. Are you still so unwell from your previous illness that you cannot walk properly? [The is obviously the only explanation.]

[She doesn't see anything wrong by it, and even turns around so she's facing him. Carefully, of course; she doesn't want to trip again.] I would tell you if I knew, but from what I have gathered, this costume is made from a very odd material. Rather thin, I might add.

[Tilting her head to the side.] Is it, perhaps, distasteful?

I am not so cold as to be uncomfortable, no. As short at this dress is, there is far more material in it than I am accustomed to wearing. It evens out quite nicely.

Are you in a costume as well? I notice you are much taller than usual.

[But once the dreaded outfit is mentioned, he sours and scoffs at his state of attire] Unfortunately. And that would be because of these weird sandals. [Clicks one against the ground] I can't take them off for more than a minute, either.

[this costume speaks for itself though he does have his usual white hoodie on over it, he still has the hat on. Not that she can see it, but I need to point out how absurd it is for you to laugh about it metaly. Because, despite this odd costume he is not running towards her spot on that bridge and, well, recognizing her from that little picture-]

[Oh, but you see, while Cheyenne can't exactly see the costume itself, she can see that there is a large inanimate mass now attached to Kida's body. It's faint, but it's there, and the shape is odd enough for her to make a face.]

Hello, Kida. Is that... a costume I'm sensing?

It is indeed, Cheyenne-chan~! [How can she see with that blind- nah. He shrugs and smiles before leaning down on her]

Lovely? [She runs a hand over some of the ruffles in her skirt.] I would not know. I am merely glad it is not entirely uncomfortable... though I do wish I could say the same for these shoes.

Yes. They are the only truly inconvenient part of this costume. I find I cannot help but trip over every little thing unless I am paying extra close attention to the ground. [Which is why she's lost right now, but she'll get to that later. Right now, Kida crouching down means that whatever the hell his costume is, it's now within arm's reach. Don't mind her, she'll just be reaching up and poking it a fit times.]

...what is this supposed to be, exactly?
